Temecula Center for Integrative Medicine


After suffering from a chronic illness for almost a decade, I was forced to navigate my way through the Allopathic medicine system.  During this process I learned a lot about the inability for most physicians to treat their patients properly and fell in love with Integrative Medicine and a holistic approach to health.  During my suffering I vowed to myself that if I ever got better I would dedicate my life to improving the healthcare delivery system and do everything I could do make sure that what happened to me never happened to another person again.

I was fortunate enough to get a once in a lifetime opportunity to be part of a team that helped to open the Temecula Center for Integrative Medicine.  I knew that I could apply all of the business/marketing concepts that I learned as an Executive in Corporate America for 13 years to TCIM and help to make it the most successful clinic in our area.

Created a Brand

Branding allows you to stand out from your competition.  A beautiful logo and website is where to start.

Built Online Presence

Keep it simple.  You don’t have to be on all of the social media site.  To me, Facebook and Youtube is where patients are.

Engaged our Patients

Don’t just post stuff online, you have to engage.  Post great content then comment, like, and remain active.

Challanges & Our Solution

Starting a clinic from scratch with zero patients was a scary endeavor for everyone involved, but the doctors and practitioners had the most to lose by starting our own clinic.  Leaving the security of working for a large healthcare network is scary, but everyone on our team knew that opening our own clinic was a risk worth taking.  I knew that it was my responsibility to do everything that I could to create a “buzz” in our local community about our new clinic and began to execute the marketing strategies that I had used at my former job as an executive in corporate America. 

Several months prior to opening we began to execute our marketing strategy and launched a web site, blog, and Facebook page.  We all kept very active in the community and began to build our patient base before even opening up our doors.  People want access to Integrative Medicine, so sometimes I feel like marketing is the easiest part of the whole process.  It’s so fun being able to tell people that there is a different approach to healthcare that can have life changing impact on their lives.

We opened in July of 2014 with a full schedule, continued to execute our marketing strategies and built our clinic to over 6,000 patients with an 800+ person waiting list in less than two years.  We spent almost no money on paid advertising and built everything with “organic” online traffic.  We turned a profit in the first 6 months and are continuing to grow our business month after month.

I have been able to refine our marketing efforts over the past three years and I know that what I have created can be easily duplicated and help other Integrative Clinics show dramatic growth and experience financial success.

Our patient base increases over 20% each year, and if we had the resources to expand more quickly that number would be much higher.  You don’t want to grow too fast, so it’s very important to create additional sources of income by monetizing every part of your business.

We currently have 6,212 Patients, 821 person waiting list and growing, 2,400 active likes on our Facebook page, and a 4-5 star review on all social media outlets.  It has been a lot of fun…and we are just getting started.
